My mum and I would quite like to play duet music (on one piano), but I'm rather confused as to what music to look for. Are 'four hands' and 'piano duet' the same thing? A lot of 'piano duet' music seems to be for 2 pianos on closer inspection (i thought this was duo), but then a lot of it is also for one piano. I was wondering if either name (or something else) is the standard name for two people on one piano, or whether composers just chose the one they like best?

Definitely. It's for one piano, one dog. Woof!
