Did anyone catch the stunning performance of Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 1 in D-flat major yesterday? With Alexander Kobrin on piano?

To say it was 'fantastic' doesn't cut it, sensational is more the word.

yes I thought it was amazing too. Terrific pianist.

and what a superb orchestra the NYO is!! so much young talent...

I was thinking this, I wouldn't believe that the youngest is 13 and the eldest 18 for that orchestra, especially for something like "New Era Dance" that they played first.
