Does anybody else think that there should be a Viva Viola forum where viola players could post stuff to do with the viola? There seems to be quite a few viola players on this board.

Insofar as this is being raised at your next meeting, may I add my vote for a viola forum - youth orchestras in particular are often short of viola players and they need to be encouraged. It is somewhat insulting to this beautiful instrument to be classified (by the implication of being lumped into violin forum) as "no more than an oversized violin". It is apparent from the american website "8notes.com" that the viola forum is a great success. If however the "fan base" in UK is somewhat smaller, at the very least if violin forum is to be used for violin and viola, it should be called "violin and viola" forum.

Can i just say that, its not hard to create a new forum.
I own a forum and to create a new forum, its just enter name and click submit. or something like that
