Let say if I take Grade 8 Theory (without taking Grade 1 to Grade 7 theory) exams straight away and passed, is it still possible for me to sign up for Grade 6, Grade 7 or Grade 8 practical exams? Or do I still need to take Grade 5 Theory exams?
How about for DipABRSM Teaching? Do I need to take Grade 6 Theoryexams if I have passed Grade 8 Theory exams?
Thanks.

I assume that if you have passed gr8 theory, then by default you have satisfied any gr5 or gr6 theory prerequisites. However, perhaps life is not always that logical...

Yes, grade 8 theory will be accepted to enter grades 6 - 8 practical. Not sure about DipABRSM though. It specifies grade 6 theory, whereas for practical grades 6 - 8, a pass in theory grade 5 or higher is required.
