i am a classically trained pianist and i have decided to take up jazz piano. my eventual goal would be to play chords/comp in a jazz ensemble behind the main parts.
however, at the moment i am not fluent enough or familiar with the chords.

can anyone give me any tips for playing the simple II-V-1's, Major and minor 7's etc ?
