Hi everyone!

I've got to re-audition for the Highland Regional Youth Orchestra (playing the violin) in a few weeks time. My teacher suggested that I play 'Meditation' from the opera, 'Thais', by Jules Massenet, which was formerly in one of the Grade 7 books (if I remember correctly ).

I've also been asked to play it at my school's annual prizegiving in June.

I really want to make a good impression at the audition, so I was wondering if anyone had any particular hints or tips related to this piece, in particular, the second half, with the Piu mosso agitato and the really high chromatic bits!

I'm playing it at the moment - bow distribution is the key in my opinion Good luck with it
