Just wondering, that if I were to get the right grades to go to the college I want, would I have to take theory exams?

Thanks

That depends what colledge, what you want to study, if you need UCAS points etc.

However, music/theory grades certainly won't make you look bad!

Thanks, I will have a look into what is expected.

I don't think that any colleges require theory grades as they take the theory in GCSE to be suitable. Although I would say that most people who do A level music will have grade 5 theory smile.gif

It would depend on whether you want to do ABRSM practical exams grades 6 -8. If so, then you'll need to pass grade 5 first. I not, or if you've passed grade 5 already then I can't see any college making you do theory exams.
