Tonight my teacher gave me the second violin part for THE BACH DOUBLE VIOLIN CONCERTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am on cloud nine!!!!! I just LOVE Bach and must have about eight different recordings of this piece and I HONESTLY never thought I'd see the day I would play it!!
I managed to sight read most of the first page of the slow movement and the first half-page of the first movement. It's going to take a lot of work to learn the shifts on all the different strings but WOW what a challenge - I was singing it all the way home in the car
.. and I thought all I'd ever do was strum a few fiddle tunes...
