My teacher lent me a book of baroque duets last week and in it was one of my favourite composers.

So now I'm playing the violin concerto in Aminor, Op 6 No 3 by VIVALDI!!!!!!!

There's lots in third position but I'm getting there and it's starting to sound vaguely like the real thing... okay, I'm only doing grade 2 but I'm thrilled to BITS to be playing REAL music, and especially the baroque music I listen to when I'm working.... I never thought I'd be playing it one day!!!

That's great Lottie - I love that concerto, and I think you'll find that it's a good deal more advanced than grade two, so you must be coming on really well!

Does the A minor you are talking about start with A G then a run of semiquavers from top A to the A an octave below?

Think it goes EAAAAACBACBACBAGFEDCBECAA. Or is that Op 3 No 6?
