Hello smile.gif
How easy (or difficult) do you think is the Harry Potter's music (easy arrangement) for violin if you have seen it that is. I just bought it from musicroom.com and looking at it I think it 'may be' at around grade 2 to grade 3 difficulty, am I wrong in thinking this? There are key signatures I have not learnt yet in grade 1 and also (although they give you two versions, an easier one and more difficult one) there are some high notes which must be in 2 second position by the looks of it (I have only done 1st position so far).
It is something which I would like to learn but I think I may have to be patient and leave it until the end of the year rolleyes.gif

I haven't seen the violin one but the cello one is about grade 3.

I think grade 3 for the violin one is probably the answer as well then glare.gif

it tells you on the site what they mean:

"What does it mean?

1 Beginner (Complete beginner, no previous musical knowledge)
2 Easy (Simplified arrangements; Grade 1-3)
3 Intermediate (Slightly simplified arrangements; Grade 4-6)
4 Intermediate / Advanced (Accurate transcriptions of most rock/pop titles; Grade 6-8)
5 Advanced (Accurate transcriptions of more complex pieces; Grade 8+)"

does that help? biggrin.gif
