Members who are interested in Composing and Arranging might like to know that a workshop is being held at The Yorkshire College of Music & Drama in Leeds on 16-17 August. I gather that it will cover writing for Strings Writing for Choirs, arranging for small groups, ranges of instruments, analysis of students' submitted compositions, and advice on promoting and publishing.

I don't think I will be able to go - its a few days after we get back from the States, so I will probably still be jet lagged! Still, it looks great for anyone interested in composing!
