I'm trying to play Villa Lobos Prelude no 3. At the end it has a DS al Coda, and there's a single coda bar at the end. But I can't seem to find the coda mark in the music. Any brilliant ideas where it might be?

Hi meerkat,
I have no idea where your coda is, but I have to admit that your topic did make me giggle a lot!
Good luck finding it!

Hello MK - It's so long since your post that you've probably found your coda by now or given up hope! However, if you're still interested, John Williams plays the prelude twice through, just replacing the final andante 2/4 bar with the coda, so I suppose the coda mark is at the beginning of that bar. Norbert Kraft doesn't bother with the repeat at all (!) and just plays it once through replacing the andante with the coda.
Hope this helps.

I had indeed given up hope! Thanks that's helpful.
On a different note - I have a website all designed and ready for launch for the harborough guitar society. Probably aiming to start just after easter, if you're still interested.

That's great news! I'm most definitely interested - count me in. Do you have a web address yet?

Just busy setting it up - will have it by the end of the weekend I think.
