Marianne Thorsen was absolutely superb! So was Quin Wu, Huang, Sophie Langdon and a couple of others. Wow, what a sound! smile.gif

Sounds great! Glad you had a good time, and also I was thinking of your girl on Friday, hope she had a good day.
Tess
Oh yes, she did! Definitely. She said she's so lucky because her teacher happened to be working in RAM that very Sunday and he went to the concert and enjoyed it, too. smile.gif

Thanks for asking.

Georgy Pauk is an amazing player! He was at music college (Liszt Academy, Budapest) in the 30's with the violin teacher I had all through my childhood, and their children married each other so they are co-grandparents! I saw him play a year or so ago and he played all the Bartok pieces my teacher used to play to me - wonderful. He's a player of the old school, the like of which you don't see that much these days.
