My duaghter is playing the alternative piece "Yesterday" for piece C (I'm accompanying). I know exam pieces are usually played without repeats but for such a well-known song it sounds completely wrong (I'm singing along in my head!) Any thoughts??

I don't know, I think that you can play the repeats if you want to. It's a good song

It's an excellent choice for Grade 4, and I let all my pupils do the repeat, as it makes sense, thinking about the words. The examiner won't have a copy of it anyway, so yes, definately do the repeat! I've never had a complaint about it.
