Hi,

I'm thinking of learning the cello soon, so trying to do some shopping around for the instrument.

I'm not sure how many people in this forum are residing in Singapore, but if there's anyone who knows of a reliable cello dealer to recommend here, could you please let me know? You can either PM me or juz post a reply to this msg.

Appreciate any help here.

Thanks and cheers.

You can try "Le Diapason" at 89 McNair Road. It's run by a man called Svaboh and he's quite famous among my friends and their teachers for his expertise in string instruments. biggrin.gif Or you can try Gramercy and Synwin too. Synwin is where I bought my violin 7 years ago. It's still in magnificent working condition. tongue.gif

I'd recommend Svaboh over Gramercy though. My teacher and some friends in the PCO (Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra) say that Svaboh is more experienced and skilled than the person at Gramercy. Your choice ultimately, though. wink.gif
