What piece(s) do you favour in List C for Grade 2 Guitar? And does anyone think that Trinity College exams are easier, certainly there seems less scales to learn!

Anna Magdalena's Dance is a nice piece, and you can utilise the book (Solo Now!, Vol.2). There are a couple of nice pieces you can use for the grade 3 list c if you are thinking ahead.

No, I don't think they are easier, just their focuses are on different things. With Trinity you have a viva voce too, where questions are asked about the piece, so I think it is a more 'all round' exam really, covering every area.

I am thinking of doing grade 1 guitar soon, have you done it? With Trinity?

The Magic Guitar, Very Easy Pieces can be used for Lists a,b and c.
My pupil is workingon Grade 2 ABRSM, but I did Trinity exams many years ago.
